Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Your Cam Your Image ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Your Cam Your Image ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
Your Cam Your Image provides:
- Photo Enhancement Service: AI-powered photo restoration and enhancement using GFPGAN technology
- Secure Vault: Encrypted storage for photos, videos, documents, notes, contacts, and other personal files
- Security Features: Multiple authentication options including PIN, password, pattern, Face ID, and biometric locks
- Additional Features: History management, file organization, disguise mode, and premium features
3. User Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.
4. License and Restrictions
4.1 License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
4.2 Restrictions
You agree NOT to:
- Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Copy, distribute, or create derivative works of the App
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
5. User Content and Responsibilities
5.1 Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to photos, videos, and files you upload or store in the App. We do not claim any ownership of your content.
5.2 Content Standards
You are solely responsible for your content. You agree NOT to upload, store, or process content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or hateful
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Violates any person's privacy or publicity rights
- Is fraudulent or contains false information
5.3 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable laws, though we do not monitor vault content due to encryption.
6. Photo Enhancement Service
6.1 Service Description
Our AI photo enhancement service uses GFPGAN technology to restore and improve photo quality. Results may vary based on the original photo's condition and quality.
6.2 No Guarantee
We provide the enhancement service "as is" without guarantees of specific results. Enhancement quality depends on many factors including the original photo's condition, resolution, and damage level.
6.3 Credit System
Photo enhancements require credits. Credits are consumed each time you enhance a photo:
- Free Credits: New users receive 5 free credits upon registration
- Credit Packs: Additional credits can be purchased through in-app purchases
- Credit Usage: Each photo enhancement consumes 1 credit
- No Expiration: Purchased credits do not expire
- Non-Transferable: Credits cannot be transferred between accounts or devices
6.4 Credit Pack Options
We offer the following credit packs (prices may vary by region):
- Starter Pack: 30 credits
- Standard Pack: 100 credits
- Pro Pack: 300 credits
- Ultimate Pack: 1000 credits
We reserve the right to modify credit pack offerings, prices, and bonus amounts with notice.
7. Secure Vault
7.1 Encryption
Vault files are encrypted using AES-256 encryption on your device. We cannot access, view, or decrypt your vault content.
7.2 Password Recovery
IMPORTANT: If you forget your vault password, we CANNOT recover it or your encrypted files. There is no password recovery mechanism. Keep your password safe.
7.3 Backup Responsibility
You are responsible for backing up your vault content. We are not liable for any data loss, including loss due to:
- Forgotten passwords
- Device damage or loss
- App deletion or data corruption
- Operating system updates or changes
- Any other cause beyond our control
8. In-App Purchases
8.1 Available Purchases
The App offers the following in-app purchases:
- Credit Packs: One-time purchases of enhancement credits (see Section 6.4)
- Remove Ads: One-time purchase to permanently remove advertisements from the App
8.2 Payment Processing
- All purchases are processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)
- Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase
- Prices are displayed in your local currency and may vary by region
- All applicable taxes are included in the displayed price
8.3 Digital Consumer Products - No Refunds
IMPORTANT: All in-app purchases, including credit packs and ad removal, are digital consumer products that are delivered immediately upon purchase. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Immediate Delivery: Credits and ad-free status are delivered instantly to your account upon successful payment
- Non-Refundable: Due to the immediate delivery and consumable nature of these digital products, ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE
- No Returns: Digital products cannot be "returned" once delivered
- Waiver of Withdrawal Right: By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been delivered
- Credits Are Consumed: Once credits are used for photo enhancement, they cannot be recovered or refunded
8.4 Exceptions
Refunds may only be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Unauthorized Purchases: If you can demonstrate that a purchase was made without your authorization (e.g., by a child without permission)
- Technical Failures: If you were charged but did not receive your credits or ad-free status due to a technical error on our end
- Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same purchase
For these exceptional cases, contact Apple App Store or Google Play directly, as they handle all payment processing and refund requests.
8.5 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all purchases made through your app store account. We recommend:
- Enabling purchase authentication (password, Face ID, Touch ID) on your device
- Monitoring any shared family accounts for unauthorized purchases
- Setting up parental controls if children have access to your device
9. Advertisements
Free users will see advertisements provided by Google AdMob. We do not control the content of these ads. Premium users will not see advertisements.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Our Rights
The App, including its design, features, code, graphics, and content (excluding your user content), is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10.2 Trademarks
"Your Cam Your Image" and related logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission.
11. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to our privacy practices as described in that policy.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
- Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Warranties regarding the quality, accuracy, or reliability of any content or service
- Warranties that defects will be corrected
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
- Business interruption or any other commercial damages
- Damages arising from use or inability to use the App
- Damages arising from data loss, including vault data loss
- Damages arising from forgotten passwords or locked vault access
- Damages arising from third-party services (ads, payment processing, etc.)
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your content uploaded to or stored in the App
15. Termination
15.1 By You
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
15.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App ends immediately
- You must delete the App from your device
- We are not liable for any data loss resulting from termination
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive
16. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by:
- Updating the "Effective Date" at the top
- Showing an in-app notification
- Posting the new Terms in the App
Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you don't agree to the new Terms, stop using the App.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
17.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where we are established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
17.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except you may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify.
17.3 No Class Actions
You agree to resolve disputes individually. You waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.

21. Acknowledgment
BY USING THE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS, UNDERSTAND THEM, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM. YOU SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGE:
- We cannot recover forgotten vault passwords
- You are responsible for backing up your data
- Enhancement results are not guaranteed
- The App is provided "as is" with no warranties
- Our liability is limited as described above
- All in-app purchases (credits and ad removal) are digital consumer products that are non-refundable once delivered
- Credits are consumed upon use and cannot be recovered
